Artificial grass or natural grass?
#Juventa is a reinforced natural hybrid grass system. It comprises a base mat which consists of a blend of polyethylene fibers in a woven backing. An approved root zone material is infilled, top-dressed and seeded. The system is installed over a suitable substrate provided by the buyer in accordance with designs and specifications recommended by Act Sports.
Patented hybrid system
#1 Surface Manufacturing
The polyethylene (PE) yarns, available in three colours, are woven directly into the backing using our patented woven technology. No latex or polyurethane (PU) backing is required.
#2 Surface Installation
The #Juventa carpet is laid on a level and consolidated rootzone sub-base and installed on the natural grass pitch, either on site or using a lay-and-play approach.
#3 Infill, Seeding and Fertilization
The carpet is infilled to a depth of 35 mm with a rootzone mix blended according to the client’s specific requirements. Seeding and fertilization complete the installation process.
#4 Root Development and Surface Reinforcement
Maximum root penetration through the carpet backing ensures that the system is firmly anchored to the sub-base. Natural grass blades grow between the synthetic yarns, creating an extremely strong and durable playing surface.
